This practice consists of 26 pre-established postures with each posture performed twice in a row. Experience core yoga bliss as your body is challenged into deep stretches and effective shoulder and hip opening postures. This connection between breath and movement is the core to any vinyasa flow. Ancient Hatha yoga postures are performed in continuous and active flow whilst focusing on the coordination of movement and breath in order to lead practitioners progressively higher. Dynamic poses are usually one breath per movement. On the other hand, static yoga postures allow us to go deeper within ourselves and to observe how the body, mind and emotions feel while one is in the posture. While it is accessible to yogis of all levels and ages, it’s common in one’s early practice to find that some postures may be challenging for beginners. In practicing yoga, you can learn the abilities to get warm, appropriate mobilization and moving the right way. Exercise can help increase your confidence level by helping to distract your thoughts and get your brain working on other puzzles and challenges, too. We strongly believe in instilling the benefits of exercise into their lives at a very young age so that they can carry it through to the rest of their lives. Then, if your heart rate starts to go too high, you’ll know to slow down your exercise until it’s in the zone again.
